He was predeceased by: his mother Laura J Kainz (Ott); and his grandparents, Henry, Esther Ott of Milwaukee, Charles J. Kainz, Sr. of West Allis and Violet Kainz.
He is survived by: his brothers, Engel, Cesnaro and Smitty; his father Charles J. Kainz, Jr.; his siblings, Lisa Harris (Jeff) and Charles "Chuck" J. Kainz III (Teri); his wife Sue McCaslin Kainz; his children, Emilie Johns (Brandon) and Michael "MJ" Thomas Kainz, Jr.; his pet Freya; his nieces and nephews, Cathryn and Dude; his children, Liili, Nate, Jameson, Layna Long (Austin) and Cristi Vellos (Ramon); his grandchildren, Tyson and Ava; his daughter Cathryn Bentley (Zack); his grandson Hudson; and his daughters, Danielle Kainz and Michelle Kainz.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hughesville Fire Hall (30 S Railroad St, Hughesville, PA 17737). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Mike would like donations to go to one of the three causes he supported and were close to his heart.
