We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2024, at the age of 75, Harry David McCaughey of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, born in Ashland, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Harry David's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Harry David has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry D., Sr. and Jean E. Troutman McCaughey; his wife Linda F. Strawbridge McCaughey; and his brother-in-law Thomas L. Strawbridge. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Cheryl A. Varner (Jason D.) of Middletown, Lester R. Strawbridge of Panama and Dennis J. Strawbridge (Martha L.) of Leola. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it was Harry's request that those desiring send memorial contributions to the Williams Grove Old Timers, PO Box 688, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 to support their auto racing museum.
