He is survived by : his wife Sandy Slavin; his children, Kristee Slavin, Erik Berger, Danielle Slavin and Tracy Monteleone (Christian); and his sisters, Bonnie Walls and Claire Jones. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
