David K. Powers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David K. Powers of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 15, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry David's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May David's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Powers and Geraldine Powers (Newkirk); his sister Ruby "Kay" Newkirk; and his uncle Robert "Bob" Newkirk. He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Hurd (Wes Jr.) of Greencastle; his girlfriend Yvonne Martin of Huntingdon; and his siblings, Michelle Florio (Tom), Lisa Pruznak (Loren) and Alfred "Ted" Powers (Jess). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Box 238, Huntingdon, PA 16652 (checks payable to Elks #976), or through Penn Highlands Healthcare Fund Development's "Grateful Giving" program in honor of the Penn Highlands DuBois ICU team, whose compassion, dedication, and tireless care meant so much to Dave and his family throughout his lengthy stay.
