He was predeceased by: his parent Naoma Ruth Holmes; his daughter-in-law Sylvia Fessler; his brother Kenneth W. Holmes; his siblings-in-law, John Worthing and Julie Holmes; George.
He is survived by: his wife Ella K. Holmes (Powell); his children, Danni L. Weaver (Damian) of Huntingdon and Gary D. Holmes (Sarah); his grandchildren, Carter, Alexander and Ryley Weaver; his siblings, Delores Worthing of Saxton, Terry Holmes of Milton, R. Duane Holmes of Saxton, Lisa Clark (Charlie) of Hagerstown, MD, William C. Robinson, Jr. (Cindy) of Mt. Union and Paul R. Robinson (Lisa) of Walker Township, Huntingdon; his parents-in-law, Gary and Sharon Powell; his sister-in-law Tracey Powell of Walker Township, Huntingdon; and his close friend Georgie Fessler, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
