He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Kathy (McDonald); his daughters, Kate Carroll (Mike), Meg Heere (Mark) and Colleen Coyne (Sean); his brother Monsignor Joseph Garvin; his grandchildren, Ben, Lucy, Jeff and McDonald; his parents, Julia Garvin and Joseph Garvin; and his pets, Crabbing Trip, Phillies and Eagles. He was also cherished by father to his three daughters.
