She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Grant Shuart and Kathryn Dorothea Shuart (Specht). She is survived by: her children, Donald M. Oakman, Jr. (Robin) of Altoona, Jill R. Oakman of Peachtree Corners, GA and Jeffrey J. Oakman (Karen) of Winter Garden, FL; her grandchildren, JoyAnn Oakman, Jeffrey Oakman II, Jonathan Oakman, Nicholas Krohmer and Garrett Krohmer; her great grandchild Ares Barra; her sisters, Cheryl Henderson (John) of Sewickley and Sandra Hayden (Richard) of Pittsburgh; and her niece Noreen Hunter (Robert) of Harrisburg. She is also survived by grand nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John B. Brown Funeral Home (417 Washington St, Huntingdon, PA 16652). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church (525 Mifflin St, Huntingdon, PA 16652).
