He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris E. Burdette and Mary Joyce Burdette (Moors); and his brothers, Norris C. and Alan M. Burdette. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Sampson (Robert) of Oxford, NC, David A. Burdette (Erin) of Sugarland, TX, Shirley A. Bonsell (Jack) of Port Matilda, James E. Burdette (Dawn) of Austin, TX, Stephen G. Eastman (Sandra Eastman) and Nathaniel R. Eastman (Yi Nez Traver) of West Warwick, RI.; and his wife Johanne. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Petersburg-Bethel Presbyterian Church (5435 Bethel Rd, Petersburg, PA 16669).
