She was predeceased by: her parents, Zacarias Cristobal and Iluminada Cristobal (Fabra); her husband Dr. Antonio B. Colmenar (Tony); her son Anthony; and her siblings, Antonio, Romulo, Dr. Bernabe, Victoria, Leonor, Romana, Eugenio and Anita.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Colmenar (Emily) of Fishers, IN and Anne Guntz (Chris) of Downingtown, PA.; and her siblings, Maria Salome Cristobal (May) and Fe Cristobal (Babes). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (8320 Brookside Rd, Elkins Park, PA 19027). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in remembrance of Marcela Colmenar may be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 524 Mifflin Street, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
