It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Evans of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred W. Evans and Kathryn L. Evans (Empfield). He is survived by: his wife Carol Evans (Motchenbaugh); his sons, Jason Evans (Danielle) and Paul Evans (Danielle); his grandchildren, Caleb, Gabrielle, Bryce and Adrianna; his brother Fred Evans Jr. (Imelda); and his in-laws, John, Barbara Pauley, David, Doris Motchenbaugh, Raymond, Karen Motchenbaugh, Denis, Mary Sue Long, Patricia Motchenbaugh and Nancy Motchenbaugh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
