She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Carper and Louise Carper of Petersburg; and her brother Rodney Carper. She is survived by: her husband Merrill; her siblings, Monakaren (late Frank Barnish) and Randy Carper (Ruth); her son Shawn Everetts; her grandchildren, Seirria (Sam), Gavin (Savannah), Garett and Skyler; her daughter Jessica Scott (Tony); her grandchildren, Kadesha, Tyler (Lauren), Hayleigh (Chance), Caden, Karmyn, Trinitty, Aidan and Bentlee; her daughter Heather Householder (Mike); and her grandchildren, Madyson and Jayden.
