It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Thomas Scherer of Huntington Mills, Pennsylvania, born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Ellen; and his brother Jerome Scherer. He is survived by: his children, Debra Garren (Ray) of Shickshinny, Donna Scherer of North Stonington, CT and Ronald Scherer Jr. (Yvonne) of Shickshinny; his grandchildren, Rachel Reitz (Scott), Kyle Scherer (Corinne), Brad Garren, Josh Scherer (Sydney Taylor-Moore), Yossarian and Mitchell Ashton; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon Reitz, Caden and Chloe Scherer.
