He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Getchey and Rose Marie Getchey (Adams). He is survived by: his wife Donna Getchey (Smouse); his sons, Christopher Getchey and Rick Getchey (Bobbi Jo); his grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Ricky, Lulu and Austin; and his sisters, Jo Ann Arendas (Tom) and Linda Matthews (Ed).
