He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey C. Ranker and Marian Ranker (Shirey); his sister Anna Lee Wambaugh; and his grandson Christopher Ranker. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ranker (Shroyer); his children, Scotty Ranker (Meggan), Royce Ranker and Jill Ranker; his grandchildren, Amber Kelly, John Kelly, Liala Ranker and Sierra Wood; and his siblings, Virginia Merritt, Robert, Gary and Richard Ranker.
A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home (169 Clarence St, Hyndman, PA 15545). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
