He was predeceased by: his wife Marian Mowry (Bridges); and his brother Lewis Mowry. He is survived by: his children, Glenda Salonish (Andrew), Brenda Cessna (Timothy), Vernon Jr., Wally and Lewis Mowry; and his sisters, Gretta May and Nancy Darrow. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home (169 Clarence St, Hyndman, PA 15545).
