He was predeceased by: his father Max E. Powell; and his niece Jill Powell. He is survived by: his sons, Bill Powell (Stephanie) and James Powell; his granddaughter Chloe Powell (Francisco); his mother Chloe "Billie" Powell (Secrist); his brothers, Brent Powell (Anita) and Tom Powell (Susan); and his siblings' children, Jan Powell (Krista), Ashley Albert (Justin), Amber Reeder (Brad) and Amy Bolze (Jeff). He is also survived by five great-nephews and five great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eschol Brethren in Christ Church.
