Samuel Orris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Orris of Ickesburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah Fosselman and Diane Geedy (Orris); and his wife Bessie C. Orris. He is survived by: his children, Robert L. Orris (Tracey) of Landisburg, Charles J. Orris (Ronda) of Mifflintown and Michelle R. Orris of McAlisterville; his grandchildren, Dustin Orris, Thomas Orris (Kelsey), Randi Bowersox (Robert), Carly Smith (Ridge) and Taylor McCoy (Michael); his siblings, Michael Fosselman (Teresa) of St. Petersburg, FL, Pamela Barkley (James) of Newport, Gregory Fosselman (Diane) of McAlisterville and Joshiah Fosselman III (Terry) of Millerstown; and his stepsister Donna Zaring (Larry) of Newport. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Veterans of Foreign Affairs (24 S Main St, Mifflintown, PA 17059).
