He was predeceased by: his parents, Judith K. Bolind, (Beitsinger) and Ronald "Gene" E. Bolind, Sr.; and his birth mother Nancy Gittens Boland. He is survived by: his siblings, Scott Bolind, Chris Bolind (Mary Ann) and Kerry Branton (Jamie Mentley); his nephews, Caleb, Cory Branton, Jesse and Dylan Bolind; and his niece Kirsten Branton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Gittens side of his family.

Donations may be made to the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department.
