It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Schurg of Indian Head, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Schurg and Sylvia Schurg (Johnson); his wife Cheryl Schurg (Gallentine); his daughter McKenna Lee; his siblings, Ina Joann Schurg, Norman Edward'Eddie'Schurg and Walter Eugene'Gene'Schurg; and his brother-in-law Rick Shaw.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rose Faidley and Carla Schurg-Stencel (Frank). He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
