Catherine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Catherine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Catherine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell S. Uncapher and Thelma P. Uncapher (Lower); and her grandfather Paul H.. She is survived by: her children, James W. Shaw of Hartford, Connecticut, Kenneth E. Shaw of Sneedville, Tennessee, Jayme L. Shaw of Indiana, Pennsylvania. and William E. Shaw of Indiana, Pennsylvania.; her grandchildren, Paul, William and Ashley Shaw; her great grandchild Ryland Greenawalt; and her stepbrother William Chappell (Cindy). She is also survived by cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hilltop Baptist Church (4859 PA-286, Indiana, PA 15701). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
