He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard William, Sr. and Shirley Lucille Curtis (Petratos); his half-siblings, Howard W., Jr. of Pelion, SC, George E. of Blairsville and Paula J. Ziegenfus (Curtis) of Latrobe; and his brother-in-law Randy G. Stewart of Blairsville.
He is survived by: his siblings, Teri L. (Benjamin Murdick) of Clymer, Kimberley J. Stewart of Homer City, Tayna M. (Timothy Buterbaugh) of Creekside and Scott W. Curtis (Jennifer) of Shelocta; his half-brother James K. of Blairsville; and his stepsister Freida (Larry Glass) of Loyalhanna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
