He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Peterson and Madeline Peterson (Lewis); and his wife Nancy L. Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Gary L. Peterson (Karen), Jeffrey C. Peterson and Suzanne Hartnett (Greg) of Indiana. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three sisters and a step-brother.
