We bid farewell to Grant Hunter (Indiana, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 9, 2025 at the age of 96. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Grant had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Grant may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hunter and Ollie Hunter (Cramer); his son Grant Dale; his siblings, Audrey LaRue Lanier and David; and his son-in-law Donald J. Vite.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys (Frederick); and his siblings, Wayne Hunter (Barb Pipchok) of Brush Valley, PA and Diane Lohr (Robert Lohr). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beacon Ridge, the Indiana County Blind Assn., the Dementia Society of America, the American Cancer Society or to the Brush Valley Chapel in honor of Grant.
