James leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew James will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sutter and Mildred Sutter. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his brother-in-law Dan Weir (Betty Jean); and his close friends, Dennis, Mark, Chrissy and Kelly.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (4606 Old US 119 Hwy S, Homer City, PA 15748). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (901 Hospital Rd, Indiana, PA 15701).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to H.C.U.P. Church.
