With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph DeHaven Kirk Sr. (Indiana, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 23, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kirk and Marybelle Kirk (DeHaven); his brother David Kirk; his nephew Samuel Kirk, II; his great-nephews, Eddie Peterson, IV and Samuel Kirk, III; and his sibling's children, Brenda Kirk and Ed Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Kirk of North Carolina and Joesph Kirk, Jr. (Tracey) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Tyler Kirk (Mia) of Indiana, Kaitlyn McLean (Ben) of Youngwood, Scott and Alex Stahlman of North Carolina; his stepgrandson Alex Burns; and his brothers, Sam Kirk (Orpha) of Home and Dan Kirk (Debbie) of Home. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
