She is survived by: her son Dr. Stefan Bender (Shannon) of Lancaster; her caregivers, Gregory Bender of Indiana and Mark Bender (Cheryl) of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Andrew Foster of Pittsburgh, Donald Bender (Emily Bower) of Carlisle and Madison Bender of Pittsburgh; her great grandchild Alice Eve Bender; and her sister Kathy Rend Armstrong of Indiana.
