We announce the death of Rodger E. Evans of Indiana, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair W. Evans and Leoda B. Evans (Smith); and his brother Dean Evans. He is survived by: his significant other Claudia L. Shoenfelt; his daughter Stacey L. Wyant (Gary); his grandchildren, Garrett, Gavin and Gillian; his great grandchild Grant; his extended family, John, Kelly, Briella and Mason Shoenfelt; and his siblings, Raymond (Mary Ann Evans) and Elaine Trusal of Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made in Rodger's honor to the Indiana V.A. or Brush Valley Community Church.
