He is survived by: his wife Evangeline Senior Gates (Jill); his daughters, Holly Travis (Gary) of Punxsutawney, PA and Julia Cunningham (Richard) of Hinsdale, NH; his adoptive daughter Kelly Jewell (Dale) of Verona, NY; his sister-in-law Mary Clyne of Mohawk, NY; his granddaughter Brandy Manners; and his great grandchildren, Owen and Noah of Punxsutawney, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
