She was predeceased by: her parents, John Griffith and Sophie Griffith (Sipos); her husband Robert N. Hoover; her daughter Barbara Jean Lynch; her great grandchild Hailee Lynch; and her brother James E. Griffith.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Slater (Bert) and Robert Hoover (Cheri); and her siblings, Bobby Griffith (Mary Jane) and Anita Shaffer (Clair). She is also survived by six grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren.
