He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Kaletz and Matilda Honchak Kaletz. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Carie Mitchell (Ken) of Ohioville and Kristopher Kaletz (Rebekah) of Brighton Twp; his brother Ronald Kaletz (Mary Sue) of Aliquippa; his mother-in-law Dorine LaValle; and his grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell (Lauren Boggs), Drew Mitchell, Kennedy Kaletz and Nikolai Kaletz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Noll Funeral Home Inc. (333 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Blaise Church (772 Ohio Ave, Midland, PA 15059).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to St. Augustine Parish, St. Blaise Church, 772 Ohio Avenue, Midland, PA 15059.
