He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Gardill (Thompson) of Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church; his daughter Barbara Bright; and his brother Robert Gardill (Bob). He is survived by: his sister Doris O'Keefe of Florida; his son-in-law Kevin Bright; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Bright and Justin Bright (Sarah).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation (388 Center Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
