It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles F. Smith (Irwin, Pennsylvania), born in Clarion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Smith (Reinsel) and Fredrick A. Smith; his son Patrick; and his siblings, Mary Alice Flick, Patricia Barr, Frances Frost, Robert Smith and William Smith.

He is survived by: his son Charles; his wife Gertrude (Hepinger); his children, Michael Smith (Lori) of North Huntingdon and Sally Smith Dugo (Daniel) of Slippery Rock; his grandsons, Daniel, Mathew (Lauren), Richard (Kylie), Andrew (Jenna), Mitchell, Luke and Charles; and also Clarion. He is also survived by Uncle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Norwin Area Meals on Wheels.
