He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hockenbery and Deliah Hockenbery (McCormick). He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Hockenbery, Lester Hockenbery and Betty Obies; his wife Margaret L. Hockenbery; and his children, Violet Hynes (John) of Mt. Pleasant, Carol Barncastle (Paul) of Brookville, Donna Perry of Virginia, David W. Hockenbery Jr. (Barbara Jean) of Washington Co and Nancy. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
