He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin McTiernan and Jean McTiernan (Baldt); and his sister Barbara Rock. He is survived by: his wife Mary K. McTiernan (Burg); his children, Kelly Bandieramonte (Jay) and Martin McTiernan (Lisa); his grandchildren, Sarah DeStefano, Brodie McTiernan, Mia Bandieramonte and Dennis "DJ" McTiernan; and his great grandchildren, Kelly DeStefano and Salvatore DeStefano. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
