Walter J. Funk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter J. Funk of Irwin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 25, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter J. Funk to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Funk and Mary Funk (O'Brian); and his siblings, Dolores Diemert and Lawrence Funk. He is survived by: his wife Martina A. Owens Funk (Nehrig); his children, T. J. Owens (Mary) and Tina Mandella (Jim); his grandchildren, Marti and Nick Mandella; and his pets, Percy and Herman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William Snyder Funeral Home (521 Main St, Irwin, PA 15642). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Edward Roman Catholic Church (120 St Edward Ln, Herminie, PA 15637).
