He was predeceased by : his wife Audrey. He is survived by : his children, Kim and Randy Button (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Lane Schaffer, Melissa Demarest (Steven), Michelle Sinnett (Corey), Nicole Button and Jason Button; his great grandchildren, Layla, Caitlin, Skylar, Kylie and Steven; his siblings, Delores Goff, Janice Hawk and Richard Button (Sandy); and his parents-in-law, Linda Joines (Lynn), Connie Detwiler (Blaine) and Gus Jicha. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and very dear friends.
