We bid farewell to Joseph P. Collins of Jackson, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 28, 2025 at the age of 84. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Collins and Ellen Cuff Collins; and his siblings, Mary Frances Scott, Anne O'Malley and Thomas Collins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ellyn Collins of Scranton and Kate Collins of Ithaca; and his brother Bill Collins (Diane).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel (1605 Oram St, Scranton, PA 18504). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
