He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine McHale Prater; and his grandparents, Rev. John S. Prater, William J. and Ann Marie McHale. He is survived by: his father Scott Prater; his wife Carol Manzoni Prater; his daughter Kaylee; his brothers, Chris Prater (Amanda) of Shavertown and Jeremy Prater (Kayla) of LaBelle, FL; and his grandmother Ingrid Prater.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc. (2386 PA-118, Hunlock Creek, PA 18621).
