He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Urben and Pauline Suntimer Urben; his daughter Noel Madl; and his siblings, John, Edmund Urben and Eve Yakim.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Urben, Jr. (Susie Patterson), John E. Urben (Ingrid), Catherine Wyman (Mark) and Jeff Urben (Monica); and his sister Audrey Steinmetz. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
