In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, Harry "Butch" Hilyer of Sheffield and Patricia Hilyer (Hanley) of Kane; and his pets, Levi and Ace. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Borden Funeral Home (203 W Main St, Sheffield, PA 16347). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
