Rose M. James Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Rose M. James of Jamestown, Pennsylvania. Rose, born on February 27, 1932 in Cassandra, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramond Boley and Julia Boley (Yogus); her husband Earl James; her son Donald James; and her siblings, Delores Boley, Charlotte Chrisko, Esther Hatfield, Ruth Seabolt, Paul Boley and Paul Miterko.
She is survived by: her sons, David James (Patricia) of Lilly and Rick James (Karen) of Portage; her grandchildren, Rebecca Skebeck (Matt), Sarah Barlick (Ian), David James Jr. (Nichole), Erica Willinksy (Ryan), Molly James, Bob, Earl, Alicia and Russell James; her great grandchildren, Logan, Blake, Kaden, Karter, Mason, Cameron, Jaxson, Owen, Lauren, Iris, Dane, Summer and Chase; her brother Don Boley (Edith); her daughter-in-law Gretchen James; and her sister-in-law Connie Boley.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (185 Church Hill Rd, Portage, PA 15946).
In lieu of flowers the family would like to give a special thank you to Forest Hills Personal Care Home and their staff and to Interim Healthcare Hospice, especially Jenna and Mike for the excellent care and compassion they showed to Rose and her family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Roses name to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, C/O 550 Main Street, South Fork, PA 15956.
