He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stewart, Sr. and Beatrice Stewart (Klos); his wife Celeste Cyprych; and his brother Allan Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Meli (Dennis), Pamela Weaver (Raymond), Carrie Stewart, Jessica Helms and Matthew Stewart; his stepchildren, Christine Handke (Mark) and Sean Veard (Holly); and his siblings, Julia Stewart, Walter "Bud" Stewart, Jr., Jon Stewart, Ron Stewart and Jay Stewart. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
