She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chapman and Kathryn Ross Chapman. She is survived by: her husband Edward Wess; her sister Mary; her brother-in-law John Cox, Jr. of Elmira, NY; her sibling's children, Morgan and Johnny; and her pet Captain Wess. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church (1410 Almshouse Rd, Jamison, PA 18929). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
