Amos Rager Obituary
We announce the death of Amos Rager of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 68. Amos will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Sr. Rager and Roberta Winemiller Rager; his granddaughter Lily Ann Rager; and his father-in-law Frank Cottone. He is survived by: his wife Tina Rager (Cottone); his children, Michele, Amos L. Rager III (Rachel) of Ruffsdale Pa, Frank J. Rager (Alicia) of Jeannette and Lisa R. Rager (Kandyce) of Grapeville; his grandchildren, Xander McQuaide (Brooke), Julian Heasley, Greyson, Izaac McQuaide, Brody, Mia and Frankie Rager; his great grandchild Sadie Mae McQuaide; his sister Sherry Matthews (Timothy) of Monessen Pa; his mother-in-law Dinka Cottone of Whitehall Pa; and his sister-in-law Michele Schmude (Eric) of Richmond Va. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc. (228 S 2nd St, Jeannette, PA 15644). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (211 Gaskill Ave, Jeannette, PA 15644).
