Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Hartman Sr. and Marilyn J. "Jeannie" Hartman; and his fiancée Lorraine McCune. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Hartman Siak (Jon "Jack" Siak) and Erica Hartman; his granddaughters, Haley and Lily Labasky; and his sisters, Rebecca Miller (Gilbert) and Laurie Leonard (Brian). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jeannette American Legion.
