With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Vernon Thompson Sr. (Jeannette, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Thompson (McKinney) and Berl Thompson; his children, Todd Jerome Thompson and Tamara Piper; his stepdaughter Felicia Riley; his stepgrandchildren, Kate, Michael and Julia Riley; his stepson Frank Robinson; and his sister Elaine Osuna.
He is survived by: his children, Sara Kaufman (Tony) and David Thompson Jr. (Mallory); his grandchildren, Christiana Fernandez (Noah), Samantha Laskoski (Peter), Madison, Cassandra, Jessica Kaufman, Noah (Autumn), Gabriel, Bella, Sophia, Penelope, River and Kai Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Cameron and Jason. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. (201 N 1st St, Jeannette, PA 15644). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
