He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Hunter Sr. and Anna Hunter (Vijuk). He is survived by: his wife Karen Hunter (Rice); his children, Laura Jaworski (Peter) of Texas, Beth Kuhn (Charles) of London and George III of Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Hunter Jaworski, J. T. Kleeh, George IV and Austin Kirby.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph W. Nickels Funeral Home Inc. (404 Sewickley Ave, Herminie, PA 15637). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward Church.
