Joan leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Joan’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Joan will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Clarence J. Hartman and Madeline (Schrack) Hartman; partner: Ervin Guzik; daughters: Christine Skatell (Nina Romero) and Sue Ann Zippi (Carlo); grandchildren: Serafina Zippi, Angela Robinson (David), Anthony Reis (Marisa), and Michael Reis (Catherine); great-grandchildren: Clara, Mazie, Pipilo, Cormac, Paul, and Rocco; sisters: Katherine "Kitty" Srebro; brothers: Richard J. Hartman; nieces and nephews: Thomas Gurksnis, Daniel Zubryd, Janet Zubryd, Marjorie Constantine (Connie), David (Becky), Mathew (Kristen), Daniel (Erin), Glenn (Tanya), Gina (Neal), and Roma (Huy); great-great nieces and nephews: Samuel, Grayson, Hannah, Abigail, Sarah, Evan, William, Matt, Ava, Katie, and Eric; and many loving neighbors, in-laws, friends, and great-nieces and great-nephews; other: Fr. Job Foote.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (553 Patton Ave, Jeannette, PA 15644).
