Joseph R. Colosimo Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025, at the age of 86, Joseph R. Colosimo of Jeannette, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Colosimo, Sr. and Virginia Ferrante Colosimo; his son Joseph Peter'Joey'Colosimo; and his sister Janice Smarto. He is survived by: his wife Marie A. Galando Colosimo; his daughter Melissa A. Colosimo of Jeannette; his grandson Matthew Colosimo of Bethel Park; and his brother Peter J. Colosimo, Jr. (Margaret) of Hempfield Twp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. (409 W Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ascension Church (615 Division St, Jeannette, PA 15644).
