He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Cherpak; and his parents, Gretchen Cherpak and George Cherpak. He is survived by: his sons, Brett Cherpak and Tyler Cherpak (Jessica Laux); his son-in-law Phillip; his grandchildren, Sophia Laux and Brooke Laux; his siblings, Sally Olson (Ron) and Richard Cherpak (Eileen); his nephews, Matthew Cherpak and Nathan Cherpak (Tricia); his sister-in-law Paula Mahokey (Chuck); and his nephew Cole Mahokey.
